Line 6 of the Madrid Metro reopened in its entirety on 19 December. This early reopening, 11 days ahead of schedule, has allowed one of the busiest lines in the network to return to normal during the Christmas period.
COMSA, in a joint venture with Tecsa, has carried out the renovation of the track superstructure on Line 6 between Laguna and Avenida de América stations, as part of the automation process for Line 6 of the underground, which in 2027 will become the first fully automated line in the entire network.
In addition, COMSA Corporación and Faiveley will soon begin to progressively install platform doors at the 28 stations on the Circular line, working at night so as not to affect regular service.
At COMSA Corporación, we are proud to contribute to the improvement of urban mobility and public transport.
