The Hospital Comarcal del Pallars now has new nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) equipment, permanently installed on the ground floor of the centre. This improvement will enable approximately 1,500 tests to be carried out each year without patients having to travel to other hospitals, speeding up care and reducing waiting times.
COMSA Service carried out the installation, adapting the interior and exterior spaces to integrate the high-precision technology. The new equipment allows anatomical and functional images of the body to be obtained without using radiation, bringing medical care closer to patients and strengthening the hospital’s healthcare capacity in the region.
