The event was presided over by the President of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Salvador Illa Roca, and attended by the Minister for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service, Óscar López; the Minister of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Olga Pané; the representative of the European Commission, Manuel Szapiro; the sub-delegate of the Government in Lleida, José Crespín Gómez; and the mayor of Lleida, Félix Larrosa, among other institutional and health authorities.
The project was carried out by the joint venture formed by COMSA, COMSA Industrial and DOMINION GLOBAL, in collaboration with SPG Arquitectura, MED Architects, JSS Efficient Engineering and QS Enginyeria i Associats SLP in the drafting of the project.
At COMSA Corporación, we are committed to:
- Collaborative design that optimises planning, improves coordination between teams and increases efficiency in execution.
- The digitalisation of processes using BIM methodology.
- Agility in decision-making thanks to Lean methodology.
- Pre-industrialised construction, which reduces time and risks.
Thanks to this approach, the work has been completed in just one-third of the time that traditional construction would require.
The new building is an essential infrastructure for improving healthcare in Lleida and responding to a care volume of more than 2,000 patients per day.
