COMSA Corporación will be involved in the new Camp de Tarragona tramway project, following the award of the bulk of the works by the Catalan Government’s Department of Infrastructure.
The project, which will run between Cambrils Centre and Vila-seca Estació, includes the construction of 12 km of tram track, 11 new stops and the installation of the systems required for its commissioning. The project will be carried out as a joint venture with FCC Construcción, Syneox Rail and Garcia Riera.
This project holds special significance for the company in the year of its 135th anniversary, as it marks a return to its roots with a rail project in the region where COMSA was founded.
Through this involvement, the company continues to advance in the development of sustainable mobility solutions and in its commitment to infrastructure that improves people’s daily lives.
