COMSA Corporación continues to make progress in the installation of platform doors on Line 6 of the Madrid Metro, a key part of the automation process for the Madrid underground’s Circular line.
This infrastructure can already be seen at stations such as Legazpi and Arganzuela-Planetario, where preparations are continuing for the future operation of driverless trains, scheduled for 2027. The implementation of this system will improve passenger safety and optimise service regularity.
COMSA and COMSA Industrial, in a joint venture with Faiveley Transport, are participating in this project with the installation of platform doors at the 28 stations on Line 6, one of the busiest lines in the Madrid Metro network.
With actions such as this, we are contributing to the modernisation of public transport and the promotion of safer and more efficient urban mobility.
