The business of services in the renewable energy sector is focused on three areas of activity: management and development of renewable projects, services of operation and maintenance of facilities (O&M), and the supply of biomass.
COMSA Renovables offers services involving promotion, construction and operation of renewable infrastructures. Outstanding in the portfolio of projects in the area of development is the Los Aromos mini-hydroelectric power plant in Chile (20 MW) developed by its subsidiary CreaEnergía.
The O&M services are channelled through the company GdES, whose activity is focused on solar and wind technology, which manages and maintains a total of 149,6 MW. The scope of services in wind energy O&M have been expanded with the participation in Ronergy Services, a company which specialises in the inspection, repair and maintenance of wind turbine blades.
TFM promotes self-consumption of photovoltaic energy both in the industrial and domestic sectors, to harness the energy generated by the facility or property itself, and also the architectural integration of solar modules into buildings.
COMSA Renovables also provides a service supplying forest biomass for energy recovery, an area in which it is positioned as the leading operator in Catalonia with more than 100,000 t/year.
