One more year, during the month of May in COMSA Corporación we have celebrated the European Month of Diversity, an initiative of the European Commission and the European Diversity Charter platform, with the aim of promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
These weeks in the company have dealt with topics such as the benefits of diversity; the context of diversity in COMSA Corporación, with a special mention to the gender issue; as well as the contribution to the promotion of diversity in the group’s value chain. In order to materialise the contribution of all the people in the Group in this area, a training itinerary has been launched, covering everything from diversity management to tools for overcoming unconscious biases.
In addition, during this month the company signed, together with other companies, the European Charter for Diversity, thereby committing itself to promoting the fundamental principles of equality, diversity and inclusion set out in it. Likewise, the article “Equality, a complex and motivating challenge in the sector” was published in the MAFEX (Spanish Railway Association) magazine, where the company shares some of the challenges and practices carried out in this area.
On the other hand, with the aim of extending diversity actions to new groups and thus building a more inclusive and diverse company in terms of talent and ideas, we continue working in collaboration with different types of entities so that the development of new actions can be successfully materialised.
