Banco Sabadell and COMSA EMTE, through their companies Sinia Renovables (62%) and COMSA EMTE Energías Renovables (38%), have closed the purchase of the wind farm Sierra Sesnández in Riofrío de Aliste (Zamora). This is a 20 MW facility that will generate 46 GWh of power annually, which is equal to the average consumption of 13,270 homes (source INE).
The wind farm under construction will represent a total investment of 33 million euros. The facility will be integrated into a group of farms with common electric evacuation and is due to be launched in August 2012.
