Between 10 and 12 February, in Acapulco, COMSA participated in the fifteenth edition of Exporail, the most important railway fair in Mexico, organised by the Mexican Association of Railways. Through its stand, the company presented the recent work carried out to improve the Mexico City metro.
In 2015, the Ministry of Works and Services (SOBSE) of the Government of the capital entrusted COMSA, on the basis of the company’s extensive rail experience, to rehabilitate suburban line 12, a key part of the city’s transport infrastructure. The construction company has renewed the track superstructure over a total length of 32 kilometres and has also carried out the maintenance of one of the sections.
During the Exporail event, a variety of both public and private investment projects in the railway sector in Mexico were presented. There were also conferences and technical sessions, in which the many experts in attendance addressed different issues related to rail transport and infrastructure.
