COMSA continues its collaborative work with the Construction Education Foundation and the Institute of Biomechanics of Valencia in the enlargement of the Ergonomics in Construction Manual.
In recent years problems associated with inadequate ergonomic conditions at work are becoming increasingly important. There has been an increase in the number of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) amongst workers, which is mainly associated with ergonomics in the workplace.
This manual expands on the previous version, incorporating analysis of new jobs in construction, including rail and sleeper replacement workers, in which COMSA has been actively involved.
The manual is available at the following link.
