On the occasion of World Refugee Day<\/strong>, COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n joins UNHCR in reminding us that behind every figure there are people with stories, dreams, and rights that must be protected<\/strong>. From this perspective, we wish to highlight the importance of continuing to support this cause, which remains one of the world\u2019s major global challenges.<\/p>\n

\n

Although, according to UNHCR\u2019s latest report<\/a>, there have been slight improvements, the challenge remains significant: to ensure lasting solutions and real opportunities for people to rebuild their lives.<\/p>\n

By the end of 2025, there were 41.6 million refugees worldwide<\/strong>, 7 out of 10 of whom were in protracted displacement situations<\/strong>, highlighting that major structural challenges still need to be addressed.<\/p>\n

In this context, our partnership with UNHCR\u2014launched in 2019 through the Payroll Giving Programme in Spain<\/strong>\u2014takes on particular significance. Thanks to the commitment of COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n\u2019s people and the company\u2019s pledge to match employee contributions, we help ensure that thousands of refugees have access to safe shelter, which is essential for their survival and for advancing the recovery of their autonomy and dignity.<\/p>\n

At COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n, we reaffirm our commitment to continue joining efforts and playing a part in this collective response, aimed at promoting durable solutions and focused on empowering refugees. This commitment is also supported by the Group\u2019s Management, as reflected in this article by Ana Miarnau<\/a>, Deputy to Management, published in the Corresponsables Dossier on the occasion of this day.<\/p>\n
