{"id":32736,"date":"2026-06-08T13:19:26","date_gmt":"2026-06-08T11:19:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.comsa.com\/comsa-corporacion-refuerza-su-compromiso-con-la-accion-climatica-en-el-dia-mundial-del-medio-ambiente\/"},"modified":"2026-06-08T13:22:53","modified_gmt":"2026-06-08T11:22:53","slug":"comsa-corporacion-refuerza-su-compromiso-con-la-accion-climatica-en-el-dia-mundial-del-medio-ambiente","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.comsa.com\/en\/sustainability-post\/comsa-corporacion-refuerza-su-compromiso-con-la-accion-climatica-en-el-dia-mundial-del-medio-ambiente\/","title":{"rendered":"COMSA Corporation reinforces its commitment to climate action on World Environment Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To mark World Environment Day 2026, COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n is joining the #PorElClimaYa campaign, reaffirming its commitment to climate action based on concrete progress and measurable commitments.<\/p>\n<p>In line with this, the company has been awarded the \u201cCalculate, Reduce and Offset\u201d seal by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge\u2019s Register of Carbon Footprints, Offsetting and CO\u2082 Absorption Projects.<\/p>\n<p>This recognition reflects the work carried out by COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n to measure, reduce and offset its carbon footprint, moving towards more efficient, responsible operations that are aligned with current environmental challenges.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this journey, the company has participated in the planting of the Bosque del V\u00e9rtice Fr\u00edo forest in Teruel, a forest regeneration initiative that contributes to CO\u2082 absorption, the improvement of the natural environment and the promotion of rural employment. In total, 918 trees have been planted, with a potential offset of 208 tonnes of CO\u2082.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n is working towards offsetting 550 tonnes of CO\u2082 for the 2025\u20132026 period, currently in the processing stage and linked to the Fontefr\u00eda afforestation project in Castrelo do Val, Ourense, an area affected by forest fires.<\/p>\n<p>Through these initiatives, COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n continues to make progress in integrating sustainability into its operations and the way in which it carries out its works and services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To mark World Environment Day 2026, COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n is joining the #PorElClimaYa campaign, reaffirming its commitment to climate action based on concrete progress and measurable commitments.
