Mexico City has inaugurated the modernization of the \u201cEl Ajolote\u201d Light Rail<\/strong>, a key infrastructure for urban mobility in the Mexican capital, in which COMSA has participated<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n

The project is part of an ambitious transformation plan for the transport system, aimed at improving capacity, efficiency and user experience through the introduction of new trains and the refurbishment of existing infrastructure.<\/p>\n

In this context, COMSA has carried out the comprehensive renovation of the Tasque\u00f1a terminal, as well as the extension of roofing structures at six additional stations and the maintenance of all stations and track along the entire line.<\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

Works at Tasque\u00f1a terminal<\/h3>\n

The intervention at the Tasque\u00f1a terminal has been particularly significant, including not only the construction of the station itself, but also a series of key improvements:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Construction of a new railway platform<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Upgrading of the electromechanical infrastructure of track and catenary<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Refurbishment of pedestrian areas<\/strong> and improved accessibility through the Modal Transfer Center<\/li>\n
  • Installation of new public lighting<\/strong> in the surrounding area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    A strategic project for urban mobility<\/h3>\n

    These actions contribute to optimizing the operation of the line and strengthening the integration of public transport within the city.<\/p>\n

    The inauguration ceremony was led by the Head of Government of Mexico City, Clara Brugada, together with authorities from the transport and infrastructure sectors.<\/p>\n
