Today, 27 January, the Community of Madrid has begun installing the first platform screen doors on Line 6 <\/strong>at Legazpi station, as part of the process that will turn this line into the first fully automated line on the network.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During a visit by the Regional Minister for Housing, Transport and Infrastructure, Jorge Rodrigo Dom\u00ednguez, to Arganzuela-Planetario station<\/strong> \u2014 a station built by COMSA<\/strong> that continues to be a key part of the Madrid Metro network \u2014 this new phase of the works was announced.<\/p>\n

COMSA and COMSA Industrial, in a joint venture with Faiveley Transport, are taking part in this transformation through the installation of platform screen doors on the 70 platforms along Line 6<\/strong>. This action will help strengthen safety, improve service regularity and increase the capacity of an infrastructure used by more than 430,000 passengers every day.<\/p>\n

The works will be carried out at night in order to minimise any impact on the service<\/strong> and to continue moving towards a safer, more efficient and more modern public transport system.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
