COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n is participating in the irrigation modernisation project in Ribera Alta del Porma, which it is carrying out in a joint venture with Grupo Inmeva. The project covers an area of 4,603 hectares and will benefit more than 2,800 irrigators in the municipalities of Santa Colomba de Curue\u00f1o, Vegas del Condado, Valdefresno and Villaturiel.<\/p>\n
The main actions planned include the construction of a 294,000 m\u00b3 regulating reservoir, a pumping station and a network of pipes covering more than 12 kilometres, in addition to the electrical infrastructure and photovoltaic energy associated with the system.<\/p>\n
The works have been publicly presented by the Director General of the Agricultural Technology Institute of Castile and Le\u00f3n (ITACyL), Rafael S\u00e1ez Gonz\u00e1lez, accompanied by the regional representative of the Castile and Le\u00f3n Regional Government in Le\u00f3n, Eduardo Diego, as well as representatives of the Ribera Alta del Porma Irrigation Community and the project team.<\/p>\n
