Last week, after a fortnight of pre-operational testing, service was resumed on this rail section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The maintenance work consisted of the complete replacement of the track, including the ballast, the improvement of the base and the drainage system, as well as the modernisation of the track equipment, among others, on a section of just over seven kilometres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eight vehicle crossings have also been repaired and station platforms have been refurbished, making accesses suitable for people with reduced mobility.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>18\/01\/2021 &#8211; COMSA has completed the track rehabilitation of the Light Train section between Azteca Stadium and Xochimilco Terminal, in Mexico City.
