This section includes La L\u00ednea Tunnel and its escape tunnel, as well as three other short tunnels, two road interchanges and two tolls. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\">COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n&#8217;s Industrial Division has participated in the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the project&#8217;s electromechanical systems such as fire detection and extinction, ventilation, lighting, energy, as well as ITS, SOS posts, closed circuit TV, communications and radio communications, dynamic signalling and the Control Centre. <a title=\"T\u00fanel de La L\u00ednea, en Colombia\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/comsaemte\/50325673843\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/50325673843_85a1e5066a.jpg\" alt=\"T\u00fanel de La L\u00ednea, en Colombia\" width=\"500\" height=\"366\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The President of Colombia, Iv\u00e1n Duque, inaugurated last Friday the &#8220;most important work of Colombian engineering&#8221;, reminding that it is &#8220;the dream of a country&#8221;. The Colombian Government stressed that the La L\u00ednea Tunnel will boost the country&#8217;s economy and competitiveness while reducing travel time between capital cities in the southwest, such as Cali or Armenia and Bogot\u00e1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Engineering business development<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>COMSA Industrial has consolidated its presence in Latin America through the development of strategic projects in the engineering sector. In Colombia, the company is carrying out the installation of ITS systems in the Sinifan\u00e1 and Amag\u00e1 tunnels on the Pacific Connection Highway 1, and also in the Mulatos Tunnel on Pacific 2.
