The project, which will have a duration of 42 months, consists of the restructuring of the current North Station to create a new terminal for rail traffic integrated into the Tabakalera cityscape. The building&#8217;s fa\u00e7ade will be maintained whilst its interior will be renovated and two new floors built. The works include the remodelling of the platform area to create two platforms for suburban trains and three platforms for long distance and high speed trains. The project also includes the adaptation of the underground pass to Egia and the construction of a large 5,700m2 square above the tracks which will connect with the Tabakalera building.
