{"id":11797,"date":"2018-12-20T13:38:22","date_gmt":"2018-12-20T12:38:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.comsa.com\/?p=11797"},"modified":"2021-02-05T16:40:51","modified_gmt":"2021-02-05T15:40:51","slug":"tfm-builds-its-first-solar-power-plant-in-cape-verde","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.comsa.com\/en\/renewable-energy\/tfm-builds-its-first-solar-power-plant-in-cape-verde\/","title":{"rendered":"TFM builds its first solar power plant in Cape Verde"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>12\/20\/2018 &#8211; TFM, a COMSA Renovables company specialised in photovoltaic solar energy, has started up a <strong>solar power plant on the Salt Island (Cape Verde)<\/strong>, at a cost of 1.5 million euros, for <a title=\"Aguas Ponta Preta\" href=\"http:\/\/aguaspontapreta.cv\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aguas de Ponta Preta<\/a>, a company that supplies drinking water and electricity. This is the <strong>first installation of its kind<\/strong> to be carried out by the company in the <strong>African island country<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new plant consists of <strong>five photovoltaic systems<\/strong>, designed and installed by <a title=\"TFM\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tfm.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TFM<\/a>, which are equipped with <strong>3880 modules<\/strong> and have a <strong>combined capacity of 1.3 MW<\/strong>. Specifically, it is a 0.9 MW soil field, two on pergolas and two more on roofs of buildings on the same plot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the plant has several technological innovations. On the one hand, <strong>400 monocrystalline and bifacial panels<\/strong> architecturally integrated into the roofs of the parking areas. Likewise, the solar panels of the rest of the park are installed in a series with the aim of obtaining<strong> greater performance when there is little radiation<\/strong>.
