{"id":11786,"date":"2018-07-04T12:47:02","date_gmt":"2018-07-04T11:47:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.comsa.com\/?p=11786"},"modified":"2021-02-08T12:53:44","modified_gmt":"2021-02-08T11:53:44","slug":"comsa-corporacion-presents-in-france-the-drive-project-aimed-at-improving-the-energy-efficiency-of-buildings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.comsa.com\/en\/industrial-engineering\/comsa-corporacion-presents-in-france-the-drive-project-aimed-at-improving-the-energy-efficiency-of-buildings\/","title":{"rendered":"COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n presents in France the DRIvE project aimed at improving the energy efficiency of buildings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>07\/04\/2018 &#8211; COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n participated in the international&nbsp;<a title=\"Sustainable Places\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sustainableplaces.eu\/sp2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sustainable Places<\/a> conference that took place on 27th June in the French city of Aix-les Bains, showcasing the R&amp;D project <a title=\"DRIVE project\" href=\"https:\/\/www.h2020-drive.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DRIvE<\/a>, which focuses on developing energy management solutions for residential and commercial buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The specific aim of this research, which was conducted by a consortium of nine companies and European institutions, is to promote a technological infrastructure that offers tailor-made solutions for the energy demands of buildings, while also providing flexibility to the distribution network for facing oscillating supply and demand services. Once developed, the software will be tested at COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n&#8217;s headquarters in Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the framework of the workshop &#8216;Practicing residential flexibility in Europe&#8217;, Sergio Costa, the DRiVE project manager at COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n, highlighted that &#8220;the legal framework that has been recently created by the European Parliament regarding clean energies allows designing a new electrical market based on the flexibility of the demand for energy&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, R&amp;D projects&nbsp;<a title=\"HYBUILD project\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hybuild.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HYBUILD<\/a>,&nbsp;<a title=\"Geofit\" href=\"http:\/\/www.comsa.com\/documents\/10851\/64144\/GEOFIT\/13a326be-d3ad-4e56-94b1-717a033f1161\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GEOFIT<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a title=\"BEEST\" href=\"http:\/\/www.comsa.com\/documents\/10851\/64144\/BEEST.pdf\/71722e54-4c74-4b55-8d7e-c3db32baa3ae\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BEEST<\/a> (which are also participated by COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n and are focused on providing new energy efficiency solutions for installations and buildings) also presented its innovations at the conference.
