{"id":11780,"date":"2018-05-10T12:04:02","date_gmt":"2018-05-10T11:04:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.comsa.com\/?p=11780"},"modified":"2021-02-05T16:40:53","modified_gmt":"2021-02-05T15:40:53","slug":"comsa-industrial-will-research-the-application-of-lot-technologies-in-buildings-aimed-at-automating-its-maintenance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.comsa.com\/en\/industrial-engineering\/comsa-industrial-will-research-the-application-of-lot-technologies-in-buildings-aimed-at-automating-its-maintenance\/","title":{"rendered":"COMSA Industrial will research the application of loT technologies in buildings aimed at automating its maintenance"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>05\/10\/2018 &#8211; The technical and innovation department of <a title=\"COMSA Industrial\" href=\"http:\/\/www.comsa.com\/en\/web\/comsawp\/ingenieria\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">COMSA Industrial<\/a> will research the implementation of intelligent environments based on <strong>Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in non residential buildings<\/strong> with the aim of <strong>automating its maintenance and limiting its energy costs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This research, which COMSA Industrial is carrying out with the\u00a0<a title=\"Leitat\" href=\"http:\/\/www.leitat.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leitat<\/a> technology centre, falls within the National Business Research Consortium (CIEN is the acronym in Spanish) program where eight companies and five technology organisations come together to create tools and systems aimed at automating and optimising the operation, maintenance and inspection of equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this regard, COMSA Industrial and Leitat will develop <strong>loT network nodes for controlling the air, water and electrical installations<\/strong> of buildings. Simultaneously, the engineering department will design a <strong>system to collect the primary parameters<\/strong> (temperature, humidity, light level, noise, etc.) for the purpose of establishing measures for a more <strong>accurate preventive maintenance<\/strong> and improve the <strong>energy efficiency and environmental quality<\/strong> of building equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All in all, the CIEN programme has a budget of six million Euros for a 4 year-period.
