12\/19\/2017 – COMSA has recently completed the widening of a section of the R\u00e9gis Bittencourt highway in the Serra de Cafezal along with the doubling of the SP-345 road in S\u00e3o Paulo (Brazil). These two infrastructure expansion projects are aimed at improving terrestrial communications and decongesting arterial roads<\/strong> for the mobility of each of the regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The R\u00e9gis Bittencourt highway<\/strong> was COMSA\u2019s first road contract in the country. Executed for the operator Arteris and with a value of 42 million euros, the works consisted of the doubling of 4.5 kilometres of highway between S\u00e3o Paulo and Curitiba<\/strong> and the construction of 16 viaducts. For Arteris, COMSA also delivered the 16 million euro project to widen around 10 kilometres of the SP-345 road<\/strong>, which included three new overpasses between the cities of Franca and Patronage Paulista<\/strong> in the north of S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continuing in the field of civil engineering, the company has recently begun in consortium the doubling and restoration of a 78-kilometre stretch of the BR-101 road in the region of S\u00e3o Miguel dos Campos, in the state of Alagoas<\/strong>, in the northeast of Brazil. The works will include ten new structures and seven viaducts, and are valued at 132 million euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, in the area of Brazilian railway, COMSA continues to progress in the construction of the second phase of Line 4 of the S\u00e3o Paulo Metro<\/strong>, a 235 million euro project whose main actions involve the commissioning of four new stations, the execution of more than 2,000 meters of tunnel and the construction of three emergency exit stairwells. This contract is in addition to that which has just been awarded for the widening of 10 kilometres of road for the company Rumo Log\u00edstica<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0between R\u00edo Claro and Camaqua, also in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
