During 2016, the company <strong>increased its activity by 25%<\/strong> compared to the previous year, from 9,700 trains moved in 2015 to a total of 12,200 in 2016, along with <strong>a 7% increase in net tonnage<\/strong> to reach 3.2 million tonnes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>CRT launched new car, intermodal, steel, paper and wood traffic operations, leading the Iberian market for private railway companies. The company\u2019s projects included consolidating the <strong>transporting of steel products between Santurce (Vizcaya) and Aranda (Burgos)<\/strong> and starting a new operation to<strong> transport chemical containers between Seville, Cordoba and Algeciras<\/strong>.
