The \u201cSmartLNB\u201d project by Egatel<\/a>, the COMSA Corporaci\u00f3n company specialising in the research into and the development and manufacture of radio and television products and systems, has been awarded the INEO Prize for Most Innovative Product, in recognition of the company\u2019s ongoing contribution to modernisation and innovation in the Galician economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award jury praised the innovative character of Egatel for the efficient use of data transmission capabilities in a medium as restricted as satellite communications. The jury also took into account the wide range of possible applications of \u201cSmartLNB\u201d, which has contributed to the digital transformation of many diverse areas, including health, the digital home and the industrial sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award was collected by Francisco Javier Vald\u00e9s, Head of Business Development in the Egatel R&D Department during the XXI Galician Night of Telecommunications and Information Society. Vald\u00e9s was also accompanied during the ceremony by the CEO of the company, Javier Taibo. The event, which took place on 30 September, was organised by the Official Association and Galician Association of Telecommunications Engineers and took place at the Gran Hotel de A Toxa, O Grove, Pontevedra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
