From 27th to 29th January, COMSA EMTE participated in Exporail<\/a>, the main rail industry fair in Mexico. The event gave visitors a first-hand insight into the range of services offered by COMSA, EMTE, EMTE Sistemas and GMF, the companies that represented the Group during the twelfth edition of the fair, which was organised by the Asociaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Ferrocarriles<\/a> (Mexican Railroad Association) and held in Canc\u00fan (Quintana Roo).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Various seminars of interest to the industry were held during the course of the event, with the participation of a number of Group experts. Thus, COMSA\u2019s representative in Mexico, Ismael G. Ledesma, shared with his audience the company\u2019s experience on the metropolitan tramway of Barcelona, as part of a conference on new concepts and technologies for passenger railways. Meanwhile, the director of EMTE Sistemas in Mexico, Juan Zanuy, gave a speech about communication systems that help meet the needs of railway users.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

COMSA EMTE\u2019s participation in Exporail forms part of a strategy aimed at strengthening its presence in the Mexican infrastructure sector, where it has already executed various road projects in the states of Sonora, Baja California and Jalisco. In the field of electrical engineering, EMTE has positioned itself as a key partner for the Comisi\u00f3n Federal de la Electricidad (Federal Electricity Commission). Furthermore, EMTE Sistemas provides airport infrastructure services for the Grupo Aeroportuario del Pac\u00edfico<\/a> (Pacific Airport Group) at several of the country\u2019s aerodromes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
