{"id":11555,"date":"2012-12-17T12:41:37","date_gmt":"2012-12-17T11:41:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.comsa.com\/?p=11555"},"modified":"2021-02-05T16:41:35","modified_gmt":"2021-02-05T15:41:35","slug":"comsa-to-build-the-infrastructure-for-the-largest-nuclear-fusion-plant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.comsa.com\/en\/infrastructures\/comsa-to-build-the-infrastructure-for-the-largest-nuclear-fusion-plant\/","title":{"rendered":"COMSA to build the infrastructure for the largest nuclear fusion plant"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>COMSA has signed a contract worth 35 million euros with <a title=\"Fusion For Energy\" href=\"http:\/\/fusionforenergy.europa.eu\/mediacorner\/newsview.aspx?content=646\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fusion For Energy<\/a> (F4E), the European Union organization responsible for the European contribution to <a title=\"ITER\" href=\"http:\/\/www.iter.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ITER<\/a>, the largest experimental plant dedicated to fusion power in the world located in Cadarache, southern France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The civil engineering work to be undertaken by COMSA will take place in an area of 500,000 square metres and will include the construction of service roads, parking, drainage, street lighting, storage areas and water distribution networks, among others. Work is expected to be carried out over a period of five years and will involve around 80 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This contract consolidates COMSA as a major partner of F4E, already implementing two other urban development projects for it on the Cadarache platform.
