{"id":11548,"date":"2012-11-28T11:48:17","date_gmt":"2012-11-28T10:48:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.comsa.com\/?p=11548"},"modified":"2021-02-05T16:41:36","modified_gmt":"2021-02-05T15:41:36","slug":"comsa-to-enlarge-the-ohim-headquarters-in-alicante","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.comsa.com\/en\/infrastructures\/comsa-to-enlarge-the-ohim-headquarters-in-alicante\/","title":{"rendered":"COMSA to enlarge the OHIM headquarters in Alicante"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <a title=\"OHIM\" href=\"http:\/\/oami.europa.eu\/ows\/rw\/pages\/index.en.do\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market<\/a> (OHIM), the European Union agency responsible for registering trade marks in the European Community, has awarded the joint venture that includes COMSA the contract for work to enlarge its headquarters in <a title=\"Alicante Town Hall\" href=\"http:\/\/www.alicante.es\/ingles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alicante<\/a>. The project aims to increase the facility by 37,000 square metres and will allow the OHIM to take on a greater volume of activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work includes a new three-storey building, connected to the existing facilities, gardens and an auditorium with a capacity for 450 people. Work will begin in early 2013 and will have a lead time of 18 months.
