Travipos<\/a>, a company belonging to the COMSA EMTE Infrastructure business, will supply and transport sleepers for the Almansa-Caudete (Albacete) stretch of the high speed Madrid-Levante railway line that connects the Madrid region to Castilla – La Mancha, Comunidad Valenciana and Murcia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contract, awarded by Adif<\/a>, contemplates the manufacture of approximately 115,000 single concrete block sleepers of international gauge, with their corresponding attachments, as well as the loading, transport and unloading. The work is valued at over 10 MEUR and will be carried out together with the company Prefabricados Delta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this award, Travipos consolidates itself as one of the main suppliers of sleepers for high speed lines in Spain. In the case of the Madrid-levante High Speed line, the company has already delivered the supply of untis for the Albacete-Almansa stretch, after obtaining a contract for 12.8 MEUR in 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
