MAGMA Gesti\u00f3n Medioambiental<\/a> and IGNEA Medioambiente<\/a> organized on 6th <\/sup>March at the Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Valencia together with the Asociaci\u00f3n de Empresas de Desamiantado (ANEDES) a technical workshop on asbestos. The meeting discussed the asbestos removal sector and presented the Association\u2019s short term objectives.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Some of the primary issues for the sector were discussed during the workshop, such as the current regulations (R.D. 396\/2006), asbestos induced illnesses, preventive training in the construction sector, waste management and quality, environmental and prevention certifications.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The General Manager of MAGMA Gesti\u00f3n Medioambiental and Delegate of ANEDES in the Valencia Community, V\u00edctor Montes, closed the workshop. Also present at the event were the Head of Inspection of the Labour and Social Security Department in Castell\u00f3n, Antonio Moreno, and experts from the Valencia Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, the Ministry of Infrastructures, Territory and the Environment of the Generalitat of Valencia and the Fundaci\u00f3n Laboral de la Construcci\u00f3n.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

MAGMA Gesti\u00f3n Medioambiental and IGNEA Medioambiente are specialized in the removal of infrastructures and industrial waste management the asbestos handling and management sector. Both companies are part of the COMSA EMTE Environment business.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
