The Turkish Ministry of Transport, through the General Directorate of Infrastructures has awarded COMSA<\/strong> with two contracts to extend the Ankara metro, which represent the company\u2019s first projects in the country. The company will complete the construction of two new underground lines in the capital, with a total of 32 kilometers in length and 22 stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contract was signed yesterday with the presence of the President of the Turkish Parliament, the Secretary of Transport, the Governor and the Major of Ankara, and the Spanish Ambassador, among others. COMSA EMTE\u2019s delegation was led by Josep Miarnau, Board member & CEO of the Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The projects, which are due to begin this month of February, will be built with a total budget of 100 MEUR and will take 24 months. Specifically, COMSA will complete the construction of the lines Kizilay-\u00c7ayyolu (M2), of 16.59 kilometers in length and 11 stations, and Batikent-Sin\u00e7an (M3), of 15.36 kilometers with another 11 stations.
