The concept of smart city was born from the need to transform cities, by means of technology, into spaces that are more habitable and sustainable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>COMSA EMTE took active part in the Congress from its stand, with representation from all the Group\u2019s businesses, where it presented its \u201csmart\u201d solutions for construction projects, intelligent networks, environment and mobility. Furthermore, several experts from the Group participated in various sessions at the Congress where they discussed their experience with intelligent projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a title=\"Smart City Expo 2011 por COMSA EMTE, en Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/69167211@N03\/6558301403\/\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7005\/6558301403_740b1b79ae.jpg\" alt=\"Smart City Expo 2011\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Managing Director of <a title=\"Web Adasa\" href=\"http:\/\/www.adasasistemas.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adasa<\/a>, Albert Molina, gave his views on Intelligent Water Management Systems. In the area of renewable energies, \u00d3scar Aceves, Manager of <a title=\"Web TFM\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tfm.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TFM<\/a>, participated in a discussion on zero energy in buildings and communities. The Manager of Energy Services of <a title=\"Web Emte Service\" href=\"http:\/\/www.emteservice.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EMTE Service<\/a>, \u00c1ngel Ortega, formed part of a panel of experts on sustainable buildings.
