COMSA uses cutting-edge equipment and systems to carry out track maintenance work with a minimal impact on rail traffic.

There are three main areas:

• Ballast-stripping. The use of high-performance equipment makes it possible to clean, replace or tamp down ballast to enhance track quality and safety.

• Alignment, levelling and stabilising. The High Performance Topographical System is used which ensures optimal track levelling with extraordinary precision and excellent performance.

• Welding. Instead of traditional thermite welding, COMSA uses self-propelled electric rail welding equipment.
