COMSA de Argentina has been the Group’s subsidiary in the country since 1994. Through it, COMSA operates in the railway construction and conventional and metro track renewal industry.
Right from when it started up its business activities in 1994, COMSA de Argentina has taken part in numerous projects for the various concession operators that are active in the country such as Ferrocarril Belgrano S.A., Ferrovías S.A.C., Metrovías S.A., Metropolitano (Tmr - Tms - Tmb) and Trenes de Buenos Aires S.A.
Some of its main projects include the complete reconstruction of 15 kilometres of track in La Laguna de La Picasa, in Santa Fe province, as well as refurbishment work on signalling at Derqui Station on the San Martín line for Unidad de Gestión Operativa Ferroviaria (UGOFE).
COMSA de Argentina has also been awarded the contract for renewal and upgrading of 70 kilometres of track on TBA’s Mitre line in Buenos Aires.
