GRUPO COMSA reports a turnover of 1.216 billion euros and 17% growth for 2007
01-04-2008p>Madrid, 1 April 2008. GRUPO COMSA closed the 2007 financial year with a turnover of €1.216 billion, which is an increase of 17% over the previous year and consolidates the sustained growth that that it has been experiencing since 2000.
COMSAs sustained growth is based on its construction activity, its international growth and the consolidation of other non-traditional lines of business. The Groups international activity has registered sales of €174 million, which puts its growth rate at 27%. For its part, the diversification of the Groups business activity (including the international market) accounts for 30% of its turnover, or €367 million.
At present GRUPO COMSA has €313 million in equity and 4,442 employees, 39% of whom work abroad. [...]
