The Aggregate Division controls the mining and marketing of product from quarries in the provinces of Tarragona and Ciudad Real.
These quarries give the Group an installed production capacity of 1.5 million tons per year and enables it to provide the building sector with products ranging from breakwater blocks and ballast to classified aggregate (in all granulometries) and special sands.
The projects are carried out through the CUMESA and UBLADESA companies. CUMESA has maintained its high manufacturing volumes and is particularly successful in the Balearic Islands. UBLADESA, for its part, provides quality service in a stagnant regional market in which there is more and more competition.
